British Science Week: Diverse Humans
Ending the theme for British Science Week (Our Diverse Planet) science teachers and STEM students encouraged students across the school to learn about human diversity. Firstly, DNA was extracted and discussions about DNA differences were had. Following that the STEM club students had organised for fingerprint testing and identifying types of fingerprints such as whorls and loops. They enjoyed being forensic scientists; even if it was only for a short time.
