Yesterday, a group of A Level Biology students attended lectures at The Great Hall, University of Birmingham.
The students made Wolverley Sixth Form, and Miss Gray, immensely proud. They were fully engaged throughout the day and asked outstanding questions to our speakers.
We enjoyed a series of fascinating presentations covering topics such as the science of stress and the ‘nasal dip,’ antibiotic resistance, coral reef restoration, biodiversity, and even the science of laughter.
Exam boards also shared valuable insights and practical tips to support effective exam preparation.
Finally, visiting the University of Birmingham campus gave our students an invaluable opportunity to experience life as Undergraduates for a day, broadening their horizons and inspiring their future ambitions.
