In Years 10 and 11 all students follow a common core which consists of:
- GCSE English Language
- GCSE English Literature
- GCSE Maths
- GCSE Science (Combined)
- GCSE History or GCSE Geography
- GCSE Spanish*
- Core Physical Education
- Core PSHE**
*The vast majority of students study Spanish. Occasionally, some students may perform better across the curriculum with a slightly different programme of study - in these few cases, students will be offered an alternative.
**Core PSHE - this is delivered in bespoke collapsed sessions so that students benefit from specialist teach and guest speakers.
In addition to the core subjects, there is a wide range of optional subjects, including:
- GCSE Art and Design
- GCSE Business Studies
- GCSE Computer Science
- GCSE Drama
- GCSE DT: Product Design
- BTEC Enterprise
- GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
- GCSE Geography
- BTEC/GCSE Music (to suit the cohort of students who opt)
- BTEC Performing Arts (Dance)
- GCSE Physical Education
- GCSE Religious Studies
- BTEC Sport
- GCSE Triple Science
Students who do not study Spanish, also have an additional option from:
- BTEC Animal Care
- BTEC Health and Social Care
- OCR National: Engineering Design
