Teaching and Learning

At Wolverley CE Secondary School, our approach to teaching and learning is underpinned by the Wolverley Learning Cycle.

This shared framework shapes every lesson, ensuring learning is purposeful, well‑sequenced and focused on long‑term understanding. Through the Learning Cycle, students are supported to engage with new knowledge, practise and apply skills, and reflect on their progress over time. As this cycle continues to develop, short videos will be added to this page to explain each section in more detail and to share how the cycle is used consistently across the school. This will help students, parents and staff gain a clear understanding of our approach to learning and progress.
