Racing Santa Sleighs
Year 11 passport students putting some forces and energy revision into practise to calculate the speed and so find the force required to move these ‘air powered’ racing cars. Allowing them to practise using and rearranging physics equations.
This has allowed them to set up and run a lunchtime club up until Christmas racing Santa sleighs and other vehicles sparking interest and enthusiasm for science, as well as real life application of content. Some students from the STEM club as well as the Step-up group will be involved this week. Hopefully more to follow! We look forward to lots of science activities available for students to be involved in running up to Christmas.
