World Mental Health Day – October 2018

Wednesday October 10th was World Mental Health day.  The theme for this year's event was young people's mental health and today’s changing world. To recognise the importance of student mental health and the pressures that young people in our school are under, we supported the #helloyellow campaign run by the charity, Young Minds.  All students and staff were encouraged to wear yellow accessories to promote awareness and support.

At lunchtime, students also made some bunting by writing down positive messages and there was information available in the Hub about where to get support. Thank you to all students for making this such a positive event.
