Pearl Of Africa

On Wednesday, 29th November 2017 we were very lucky to have the Pearl of Africa Choir visit our school. Year 7 students took part in a variety of workshops throughout the day including dancing, singing, drumming and bead making. Students also had the opportunity to find out about Ugandan culture through a question and answer session.

The choir had an exciting experience in the afternoon meeting the animals in our animal care centre and having a go on the climbing wall.

In the evening we were treated to a fantastic concert by the choir. They performed on traditional instruments as well as singing and dancing. The choir were full of energy and were an inspiration to our young performers.

Thank you to all those who supported this event.
