We’re inviting the local community to the opening of our new science block on Monday 14th December.
With Mark Garnier MP cutting the ribbon to officially open the refurbished Attwood building at 9.30am, the local community is invited to have a tour of the brand new facilities between 9am and midday.
The building includes six fully equipped laboratories with state of the art interactive whiteboards and short throw projectors, two refurbished food technology rooms and a further two modernised classrooms. Additionally, corridors have been updated and there are brand new windows and fascias throughout.
Bryn Thomas, Headteacher, said, “We are very lucky to have brilliant science teachers at the school who really get the best out of our students. Last year’s Year 11s achieved fantastic GCSE science results with 75% achieving an A*-C grade. Now with the new facilities, our current and future students can push on to achieve even better results.
“Ensuring we have the best facilities possible is high priority for us and we’re delighted that Worcestershire County Council recognised that we are a rapidly improving school and invested in our new science block.”
