GCSE Results 2017

The students of Wolverley CE Secondary School have once again broken records and produced the school’s best ever GCSE results.  Bryn Thomas, Headteacher said “We are delighted that an impressive 66% of students gained the new 9–4 grade in English and maths which tops last year’s school record for the equivalent A*-C figure by 9%.  The school continues to go from strength to strength due to the effort and ambition of students and staff.  I am very proud indeed.”

Wolverley is also celebrating the number of students achieving the English Baccalaureate, which is also up on last year and well above the national and Worcestershire averages.

There were some stunning individual performances with the following students achieving top grades:

Ceridwen Clark - 7A*, 2 grade 9 and 1 grade 8

Lana Prest  - 3A* 4A, 2 grade 8 and 1 grade 7

Emma Watson - 4A*, 4A, 1 grade 8 and 1 grade 7
