European Day of Languages – September 2018

European Day of Languages took place on Wednesday 26th September and we at Wolverley spent the whole week celebrating! During the week, teachers across school completed their registers in a number of foreign languages and tutor groups had to guess which language was which at the end of the week. In the hub, European dishes were served all week and in collective worship we looked at the importance of speaking a second language. To finish our week, we had an international themed ‘bake off’ to raise money for our meerkat project. The entries were truly outstanding and due to the amazing generosity of our students, we raised £174.32 to help towards the building of our meerkat enclosure. Gracias a todos!
