Animal Centre BTEC Course Progress

Our Year 10 students are making great progress in their BTEC Animal Care course. We focus on 6 types of animals: cats, dogs, bearded dragons, chickens, rabbits and goats…..and of course also work with the vast range of animals that we have here at our centre. Students are brilliant at handling and are getting to know our animals incredibly well.

Look at how confident the 6th form students are at working with a range of animals. They are currently working on animal behaviour, which is one of the units in the BTEC course they are studying; they will then study animal breeds and grooming. What a great experience for students who would like to work with animals!

If you  would like further information about the courses on offer, please contact us and we can arrange a visit to the centre.
