We are rapidly approaching the season of good will, which is increasingly overshadowed by the commercialisation of Christmas. This is a time for thinking of others and for community spirit which is not always the first thing that comes to mind when we think about the stereotypical teenager! I have been inspired to write this blog on a wet and gloomy November day after reading about 2 of our very own students. The following snip from the Kidderminster Shuttle says it all! Well done Tom and James; I am very proud of you.
To follow on to this one of our Year 11 students Stacy Davenport is trying to raise awareness of Ewig-Sarcoma which is a rare form of bone cancer for 8 year old Alex who suffers with this condition. She is trying to raise £120,000 so that he can travel to America to get the specailist treatment her requires. To donate please download the song created for Alex called " Horizon on my mind" This can be downloaded from Amazon and the link is below.
