May is the start of the exam season and ironically, the start of the warm weather when long hours will be spent by our dedicated students tackling the challenges of new reformed A level and GCSE exam papers.  I believe in the old saying that “success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration” which seems very apt for our incredible Year 11 and 13 students who have worked so hard to prepare themselves for the gruelling and no doubt hot examination programme this year.  I wish them all the very best and know that on results day in August we will all be celebrating the fruits of their labour with a view to future educational choice and better life chances.  Good luck!
