Health Week 2019
On Friday 8th November, year 7 students took part in health day. The day included lessons which focused on healthy food, relaxation, mental agility and mental health. Additionally, every student participated in a practical activity such as tubing, yoga, boxing or zumba.
At Wolverley CofE Secondary School, we are committed to raising student awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, therefore throughout the week the whole school have been involved in health week; the aim of the week was to help build the physical, mental, and social well-being of each student. Each subject area based one of their lessons on health. There was also a visit from TV presenter and Paralympian Kate Grey and the Royal Marines at the start of the week.
