Making the school a sustainable place is important to all of us. We have implemented a number of environmentally friendly practices, including creating pond areas, encouraging biodiversity by leaving 10% of the school ground to grow wild, including environment lessons in the curriculum and making our own bird boxes.
Many of these projects are in place thanks to our Eco Team, which is made up of students, staff and Governors, and thanks to them coming up with policies and procedures, we hold a prestigious Green Flag Award, the highest accolade given out by Eco Schools.
From recommendations made by the Eco Team, our Eco Code was developed helping to ensure our school is as green a place as possible.
