Wolverley Sebright Kingfishers

Wolverley Sebright and the Design and Technology Department at Wolverley CE Secondary School are currently working on a joint project. The Kingfisher class at Sebright are coming to Wolverley to produce a wooden, paddle powered boat to go with their current topic theme of ‘everything at sea’.

The students are working with basic hand tools, Jigs and templates to produce their boat with the careful guidance of the Wolverley DT ambassadors, Tyler Morris, Charlie Baker, Mac Simpson, Thomas Donaldson and Joshua Brough. They have done a fantastic job whereby the Kingfisher Teacher, Mrs Stiles referring to them as ‘mature, keen and helpful individuals who explained instructions clearly in an approachable manner to my children.’ And that ‘their help and support was appreciated and I hope that they can join us again another Friday.’
