Wolverley Ofsted 2016

We are now able to celebrate the outcome of our recent Ofsted Inspection.  The report is available in full on the Ofsted website and via our school website.  Ofsted judged the school to be GOOD overall with ‘good’ judgements in each of the four main areas.  They reported significant improvements in leadership of the sixth form with a requires improvement judgement in this area only.  We are delighted that Ofsted have recognised all of our hard work and I am very proud to share the following comments from the report with you:

•    Firm and insightful leadership has energised staff and improved standards of education.
•    Teachers are committed to continually improving their practice and driving up standards.
•    Pupils behave well in and around the school. Their positive relationships with each other and their teachers support engaging and effective learning.
•    Pupils, parents and staff are overwhelmingly positive about the school’s improvement.
•    Leaders, including governors, are uncompromising and resolute in their ambition for what the school can achieve.

This Ofsted judgement is thoroughly deserved by all members of our school community.
Thanks for all the support you have given to the school over recent years.  Your support
has been crucial to the huge improvements that we have made and I know that we will
continue to work together to ensure the school goes from strength to strength.
