Roald Dahl Day

On Tuesday, September 13th 2016 saw the centenary of one of the best loved children’s writers of all time. In celebration, students were invited to come to school dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character and there certainly were some dahl-lightful costumes! Amber Tierney of Year 7 and Ella Ridler of Year 8 brought Willy Wonka to life whilst Ollie Williams of Year 8 created a dahl-licious looking Giant Peach. The three were awarded prizes for their efforts and all participants received a dahl- lectable lollypop whilst enjoying Roald Dahl activities at lunchtime.
