Mark Garnier MP officially opened our new science block on Monday 14th December, which gives students state of the art facilities to push on and improve on the already excellent science grades achieved at our school.
The building now includes six fully equipped laboratories with modern interactive whiteboards and short throw projectors, two refurbished food technology rooms and a further two refurbished classrooms. Additionally, corridors have been updated and there are brand new windows and fascias throughout.
Bryn Thomas, Headteacher, said, “We were delighted to welcome Mark Garner to our school to show him the new facilities and would like to say a huge thank you to him for cutting the ribbon.
"We have fantastic science teachers who get exceptional results from our students and ensuring we have the best facilities possible is high priority for us. Thank you to Worcestershire County Council for recognising that we are a rapidly improving school and investing in our new science block.”
