Gregory Best

Greg completed his GCSEs at Wolverley CE Secondary and continued his studies at King Edward VI in Stourbridge. He graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a first-class honours in Psychology, and was awarded the Psychology Undergraduate Research Project Prize for research focused on detecting verbal-behavioural differences between liars and truth-tellers. He then gained a Masters with Distinction in Investigative Psychology at the University of Huddersfield, and was awarded the Vice Chancellors’ Scholarship.

Greg is currently working on his PhD in Psychology, and is examining how deception and manipulation is used against people across a variety of scams and frauds, to explore ways in preventing their success. Finally, he adds: "I'm very appreciative of the encouragement given by all staff (both teaching and administrative) during my time at Wolverley, and I wish all the best to each student and staff-member, past, present, and future. I'd also like to give a huge thank you to my family and friends for their support along the way".
